A Method of Analysis on Quantity of F1ow into the Unlined Cavern Stored High Pressure Gas

Gas is stored with high-pressure in the unlined cavern. A water-curtain is set up round the storage for the sealing。The underground water flows in to the gas storage continously. This paper pr esents a method of analysis on quantity of the flow into the unlined cavern stored high pressure gas. The total storage system is consider ed as a steady f1ow field with boundry conditions of the circum. The calculating formula is derived by Darcy's Law, The effect of the geological coadition on the coefficient of permeability K is discussed. Finally, as erample, a big unlined cavern under sur- face 1000 metres, stored 1 maillion Cubic metre of gas in Norway is analyzed and some conclusions are given.
