Thermal Treating Xinjiang Crude Oils for Pipelining at Moderate Temperature

Based on the flow chracteristics of Xinjiang crudes, the thermal treating process is presented and described. The objectives being to transporl the crudes at moderate temperature. The results of experimental research such as effetiveness, effective duration and optimum treating temperature were obtained. And the effect of repeated shears, thermal history and pr essure wave propagation upon the th ernal treatment were examinated. Therefore, the design features and operation regime for pipeli-ning the crudes at mod erate temperature were established.
