Experimental Study of the Effect of Magnetic Treatment on Crude Oil in Pipeline

  • Magnetic treatment is conducted for improving crude oil properties. The results of which showed that by using magnetic treatment crude oil viscosity, friction resistance and wax deposit on pipe wall are altered and lasted for some time, The magnetic induction intensity and field configuration have importance to the treatment results. The other associated phenomena are also discussed, and problems for future study are presented.
