Analysis of Transient Flow in a Single-Looped Gas Line

This paper proposed a mathenatical model based on the basic equations of fluid mechanics to simulate the transient flows for Singlc-Looped gas lines (It is also applicable to the steady-state flows). On mathematical equation for calculnting prcssure profile is obiained by a method of mathematical fhysic. Finally a computer progran for computing pipeline throutput voriable with the passage of time is presented.
