A General Solution for Multibranch Network

The solution is made in general by using graphic method for a multibranch network, the process is laborious and the accuracy is low. The numeric methods presented in some references are not well in general use although the velocity and accuracy are high. To overcome the shortage mentioned above a general method is provided in the paper, the basic ptinciple is as follows, a branch flowing in node is taken to calculate and to compare, if sum of ∑Qi is greater than zero which shows that the actual flow on the branch is between the calculating values at this step and that at previous step, then approaching the solution by using midpoint method.
