Tests on the Temperature Stress of Buried Pipelines and Calculation Concerned

The article, based on a great amount of test data, verifies the basic inference in regard to the distribution of load to a buried pipeline, puts forward the concept "Constrain limit" and revise Formula(1) according to the test results. On the ground of analytical and test data, it gives out the revision formulas for buried pipeline temperature stress which take into account such factors as soil temperature and "constrain limit".
