Fracture Features of Spiral Welded Pipes

The article is a general review of the test and research work on fracture in relation to spiral welded pipes at home and abroad. It points out the fracture features of such pipes, presenting the formulas for determining the initiation of fracture that may become piercing or nonpiercing under different conditions. It reiterates the problems worth our notice in this field and expresses hope to strengthen the theoretical research and international exchanges of views in this direction.
