Pipelining the High Viscosity and High Pour Point Crudes with Approach of Heavy Oil Process

An introduction is given to the status of research and precess of prodction in which high viscous crude oil is treated by using DRB method and high pour-point oil by catalytic cracking. The former brings down the oil viscosity from 10 000×10^-6 m²/s to 45×10^-6 m²/s, and the latter turns the high pour-point oil into gasoline, light diesel fuel, and distilled element so as to make pipelining of such oil economical and feasible. Both reception rates are above 70%—80%.
