The interpolation of linear diffential equation, as stated in the article, is applied in stead of trial calculation in obtaining the tank outer surface temporature, thus simplify the calculation of the heat radiation coeffecient from tank walls to the medium around it 0.618 method is recommanded here to obtain the optimum cost-reducimg thickness for tank thermal insulation.
