The Principle, Governing Factors and Appraisal of HIC that May Rise in Pipelines

  • Hydrogen, penetrating into steel in the form of atom, may bring various damages to materials. The article deals essentially with the principle to result in rupture from hydrogen, and its model, the factors affecting and govening it, as well as the way to appraise it. The author concludes that such ruptures cansed by action of bydrogen is a quite common corrosion, to which attention should be given.
