Some Problems in Designing Buried Pipeline Strength

There are ligted in the article some critical problems that have been remained for years in design and calculation of buried pipeline strength. It is believed that advancing these problems will be helpful to the cooperation between the engineering mechanics workers and the pipeline designers so as to bring about the solution of these problems and get the design level in pipeline industry highter than it used to be.
