Rheological characteristics of Dungpu crude oil

The rheological characteristics of the Dungpu crude oil was studied in laboratory by heat treatment or adding additive. As a result, the pour point dropped considerably from 26.5℃ to 12℃ with an apparant improvement of flow properties which, as shown by theorical calculation, suggest a nice prospect for oil transportation at normal temperature.
