Discussion on the seepage control for the river tunnel of crude oil pipeline

  • The technology in the river tunnel crossing for pipeline is widely used in pipeline construction, but due to the complex geology, uneven water pressure and many other factors, the tunnel is prone to seepage. The reasons resulting in the seepage are analyzed. Results show that the construction quality of pipeline and natural conditions are the major factors leading to the seepage. According to the tunnel regulations, the renovated tunnel should follow the relevent state rules and investment saving. The regulated tunnel should be convenient in maintenance. The following methods such as water-filling, backfilling and sealing are proposed, and each method is analyzed in the aspects of construction difficulty, effectiveness of renovation and existing problems. The research direction given in the tunnel is to ensure the safety and economic utilization. It is instructive and meaningful to deal with the seepage problem of river tunnel of oil pipeline.
