Fault in the power cylinder of DPC-2800 compressor and carbon deposit

The cylinder cover cracking and cylinder inner wall coating peeling off in DPC-2800 series compressors of Cainan Gas Station were analyzed. The results showed that the thermal overload, cylinder vabration and spark detonation led to the cylinder cover cracking and inner wall coating peeling off. Under high work loading, troubleshooting should be in time for the abnormal sparking and uneven distribution of working loading from the power cylinder in order to stabilize its running. Also, the more carbon deposit in power cylinder was analyzed. The safety measures were presented from choosing lubricating oil, adjusting filling oil amount, inspecting packing and pressure difference of air filter in order to ensure smooth operation for compressor.
