Application of grey correlation method and analytical hierarchy process in safety evaluation of gas station

  • The safety system of gas station is a non-linear one involving in multiple factors and layered structures, its safety condition can be analyzed by grey correlation method and analytical hierarchy process (AHP). Firstly, AHP is used to obtain the weight of evaluation indexes, and then, the grey correlation method is used to analyze and get the correlativity between the referenced data and standard data sequences, in which the maximum correlativity corresponded with the standard safety level will be the safety level for gas station. The index system for safety evaluation of gas station was established by analyzing hazardous factors, and a safety evaluation for a gas station was made by this method. The results showed that the safety level for the gas station was Class II, which was in line with the actual operation status. Therefore, the aforementioned method was proved to be reasonable and effective, and it was a foundation for safety management of gas station.
