Technique and application of geologic hazard risk semi-quantitative assessment of pipeline

  • Semi-quantitative assessment technique is one of the most important support techniques for geologic hazard risk management of pipeline. With the investigating the objective existence state of evaluation index and calculating the relative hazard risk based on the grade and weight predetermined, the semi-quantitative assessment technique based on scoring index method can meet the requirements of risk sequence and classification in the stage of geologic hazard investigation and provide the basis for decision-making on mitigation planning in future. In this research, the semi-quantitative assessment technique has been established, which is available for the geologic hazard risk assessment of oil and gas transport pipeline and the standard of risk ranking. A pipeline geologic hazard risk management system has been developed, that is, the risk semi-quantitative assessment technique based on scoring index method, data management and risk management technique are integrated together. It provides information, technique and management platform to the geologic hazard risk management of pipeline.
