Abstract
This paper evaluates the adaptability of Houska Model, Zhao Xiaodong's Model and Guo Liping's rheology equations on pipeline re-startup calculation by using numerical model as the tool. Based on experimental data, regression program is used to regress the thixotropic parameters with the models. Results show that fitted results of the three models/equations on hot crude oil are better than that of low temperature crude oil, that is, the higher the crude oil temperature is, the better the regression and experimental curves of the three models/equations fit. However, Zhao Xiaodong's Model and Guo Liping's Equations seem better than Houska Model in fitting performance in a case of a lower temperature oil. Evaluation on the three models/equations on a basis of numerical characteristics of re-startup calculation indicates that Houska Model has a better adaptability in restartup numerical calculation than that of Zhao Xiaodong's Model and Guo Liping's Equations.
