Preliminary ultrasonic experiment on microorganisms killing of aviation kerosene

  • Microbial contamination of aviation kerosene is widely concerned all over the aviation group. Using ultrasonic generator as sterilization equipment, taking the microorganisms polluted aviation kerosene as instructions bacteria, the germicidal efficacy of ultrasonic and synergy between ultrasonic and ultraviolet ray is researched. The experimental results show that ultrasonic sterilization has best frequency. When ultrasonic frequency equals to 28 kHz, sterilization effect is the best, and when ultrasonic frequency equals to 59 kHz, the sterilization effect is the worst. Sterilization rate varies with the increase of temperature and the decrease of the volume. Ultrasonic on microbiology has a certain mortality rate, but the effect is not very ideal. Sterilization effect of ultraviolet ray is significant, and when radiation time equals to 30 min, the sterilization rate will reach at 99%. Synergy between ultrasonic and ultraviolet ray is remarkable on the death effect of microorganisms. 1 min preprocessed by ultrasonic and 15 min radiated by ultraviolet, the sterilization rate will reach at 99%, which greatly improves the sterilization rate of the ultraviolet ray and shortens the sterilization time.
