Optimization of remote control system of Yanchi Compressor Station in West-to-East Gas Transmission Pipeline

  • Except the remote control of compressors, the long-distance oil & gas pipelines operated by PetroChina have been gradually achieved a centralized control via Beijing Oil & Gas Pipeline Control Center. In this case, a spot test of remote control system (RCS) in Yanchi Compressor Station in West-to-East Gas Transmission Pipeline was launched. Based on the technical performance of SCADA system and control system of compressor units in RCS, RCS rebuilt demand was pursued in order to determine an available scheme. Work done included renewing the UCP command program of compressor units, extending 42 I/O of PO, which would be transmitted to SCS and Center Control SCADA system, altering the relative program of Station PLC and configurating the screen monitoring diagrams and relative information. Through the rebuilding in Yanchi Compressor Station, the remote control functions in startup, shutdown and switch of running condition of compressor units was successfully were realized. And as a technical reserves, it was important in rebuilding RCS of compressor station in long distance gas pipeline inland.
