Optimization model of china crude oil importation

  • The selection of transit port and the determination of optimal transport ships tonnage interval for various segments are crucial to the shipping network optimal design of China's crude oil importation. The authors consider the characteristic of large transportation capacity, small recipient volume and the dispersed receiving location of crude oils in China. The network structure construction and operation control integration solution are regarded as a fundamental basis for the incoming optimization. Further according to the construction status of crude oil ports, crude oil requirement and distribution, oil strategic reservation size and distribution, the optimization objective is to achieve the minimum total cost for import transportation of network optimization design. The network attached port selection, port-level configuration, port cargo traffic and transport volume are selected as network optimization design variables. China's imports of crude shipping network optimization model has been built based on the previous information. Case application shows that the network optimization model has the advantage of economy and applicability on reducing the total cost and operational control, which can be used for optimization of the cargo flow-distribution of segments in network and transport volume, thus it can provide a basis for optimizing the ship and operation of the network control program proposed by the actual operation.
