Classification of flow-induced vibration of centrifugal power gas pipeline and its research status

  • Current research on the flow-induced vibration of centrifugal power gas pipelines were sorted out, summarized, and classified into three types, i.e. the flow-induced turbulence, the flow-induced vibration and the acoustic-induced vibration. Definitely, the vibration mechanisms and vibration characteristics were claried, and the prevention methods and solutions of vibration were developed. In order to better prevent the pipeline vibration, the following recommendations were proposed: In the pipeline design stage, the possibility of flow induced pipeline vibration should be screened according to the criteria formulated by Energy Institute, while in the pipeline operation stage, analysis should be conducted with consideration given to the pipeline structure, the operating conditions and the vibration characteristics, so that the vibration type could be determined, and the appropriate measures should be taken. Finally, the important issues to be solved in the field of centrifugal power gas pipeline vibration were pointed out.
