Abstract
At present, China has more built-up and planned marine energy corridors and abundant specific routes. The national and regional natural climate, political economy and other conditions are different in different geographical locations, so the main risks faced by different routes and the water areas in the each route are different, including the limitation of natural conditions and the influence and threat of traditional and non-traditional security factors. The reality of high external energy dependence makes it necessary for China to recognize the risk differences of different waterways and take the suitable measures. In this paper, five energy corridors (routes) which are vital to China's energy security were selected as the research objects. Their specific risks and the threat degrees of different risks were analyzed and elaborated from the perspective of qualitative research by means of literature research method and comparative analysis method. The problem that previous researches are lack of pertinence, particularity and comprehensiveness was partially solved. The conclusion that the inherent risks of different energy corridors are different and their threat ranks are different is of certain guiding significance for the relevant behavior subjects to formulate appropriate coping strategies.
