Abstract
With the further development of abandoned pipeline disposal, the abandoned pipelines in some special sections which cannot be dismantled need to be filled with the grouting materials after being cleaned to prevent the ground subsidence. The grouting technology for abandoned oil and gas pipelines mainly uses grouting materials (e.g. cement, coal ash) to fill the abandoned pipe sections to increase the pipeline strength. So the pipe sections may be prevented from deforming and fracturing oppressed by outer force, and the movement of things over ground or surface collapse may be avoided. In this paper, the rerouted section of Lan-Zheng-Chang pipeline was taken as the object for case verification. According to the basic principle of pipeline grouting, the grouting materials were prepared independently. Then based on the filling requirement, the field test of the grouting was carried out. It is indicated that the grouting technology can satisfy the requirements on the filling disposal of abandoned pipelines, plays a key role in preventing the collapse of special sections and acts as the important guarantee technology during the disposal of abandoned pipelines. The actual effect of the grouting technology in the disposal engineering of the rerouted section of Lan-Zheng-Chang pipeline lays the foundation for its popularization and application in the disposal of abandoned pipelines.
