Construction status and development trend of global oil & gaspipelines in 2017

  • At present, the deterioration of the global climate environment has great impact on environmental protection.The fluctuation of oil price and the increasingly fierce market competition caused by energy aggravate investment risks.Oil and gas pipeline industry is faced with extremely complex development environment and obvious uncertainty, andits construction investment is cut down significantly. In this paper, the development situation of global energy structurewas analyzed and the operation status of in-service oil and gas pipelines all over the world was summarized to graspthe construction status and development trend of global oil and gas pipelines in the new situations. It is indicated thatthe construction of oil and gas pipelines in the future will be driven by the utilization of natural gas, the exploitation ofseabed resources and the replacement of old pipelines, and will be adversely influenced by geopolitical, environmental andsecurity factors. Finally, the effects of the construction status and development trend of global oil and gas pipelines on thedevelopment of China's oil and gas pipelines were discussed deeply.
