Effect of controllable parameters on the effective power of gas-driven compressor set

  • In order to understand the performance parameters of gas-driven compressor more accurately, a method to quantitatively analyze and predict the effect of controllable parameters on the effective power of the gas-driven compressor set was developed in this paper. Based on the actual operating condition of the gas-driven three-stage reciprocating compressor in a certain natural gas storage, the effect degree of the inlet and outlet pressure and inlet temperature on the effective power was analyzed. It is indicated that the inlet pressure and temperature of the first stage and the outlet pressure of the last stage have the greatest effect on the effective power. Then, these parameters were predicted. The correctness of this method is verified by comparing with the thermodynamic double-calculation results at variable working conditions and the similar experimental results. The method demonstrates the feasibility of parameter adjustment to improve the performance of compressor set in operation and provides reference for the study on effective power of the gas-driven compressor set.
