Strategic layout of oil & gas trade routes between China and Russia

The energy in China is faced with the problem of restricted and simple supply route and the energy supply is suffered from the potential safety threat. China and Russia are the largest crude oil trading countries for each other. In this paper, the current situations and future development trend of oil & gas trade between China and Russia were illustrated to solve these problems. Northeast, northwest and main offshore routes and planning engineering of oil & gas transportation between China and Russia were analyzed, the strategic significance and prospect of diversified development of SinoRussia oil & gas trade routes and further enrichment of China's oil & gas import channels were pointed out. It provides reference for China's oil & gas import and the oil & gas trade of the nations along the Belt and Road.
