Application of distributed automatic quantitative loading system in Myanmar Oil Depot

  • With the rapid development of petrochemical industry, higher requirement is demanded in oil loading level. In this paper, the distributed automatic quantitative loading system in Myanmar Oil Depot was taken as the research object. Based on the actual situations at the oil depot, the technological process of distributed automatic quantitative loading system was analyzed in detail, the control strategy of the whole loading system was illustrated, and the general structure of the distributed control was introduced. The system consists of field control section and remote monitoring section. Smith batch controller is used in the field control section to carry out data acquisition & processing, real-time control of quantitative loading, interlock protection, etc. Visual configuration software is used in the remote monitoring section. By virtue of this software, the automatic quantitative loading monitoring system is developed and thus process data monitoring, historical data display, alarm and safety protection interlock and other functions are realized. The application of automatic quantitative loading system reduces the labor intensity of operators, improves the level of automation, and ensures the safety and efficiency of oil shipping.
