Abstract
With the advancing of "the Belt and Road Initiative" and the expanding of CNPC overseas markets, the integrated offshore-onshore project, especially the project to transport the oil products to the onshore refinery terminal by means of catenary single point mooring system combined with the offshore oil tanker will be the main choice of future development. By virtue of single point mooring system, harbor facilities used for oil tanker loading and unloading are extended effectively to the deeper sea areas, so that the crowded situation in the harbor is relieved, the construction cost of special dock is cut down and the oil product transportation efficiency is increased. In this paper, Bangladesh GTCL project was taken as an example to describe in detail the construction and installation process and on-site installation technologies of end manifold, subsea hose, floatation hose and anchor leg of centenary single point mooring system. The research results provide the technological support and guidance for the offshore installation of catenary single point mooring in the similar projects.
