Development of large vertical quick opening closure driven by electricity

Abstract
At present, no special lifting equipment is available for large vertical quick opening closure at home and abroad, so it cannot be switched without the hoist. To solve this problem, existing medium and small blinds were innovatively designed from the aspects of power driven layout, material selection and structure optimization, the stress on the key components was analyzed by means of finite element analysis method. And consequently, one large vertical quick opening closure(PN11 MPa, DN 1 500)was developed. Its most significant feature is the function of automatic lifting and automatic rotation. And the lifting and rotation mechanisms are strong and stiff enough to satisfy safe operation. This large vertical quick opening closure can be opened easily by one person within 5 minutes. Finally, its rationality was verified by means of on-site opening test. Based on this large vertical quick opening closure, the automation level of domestic large vertical quick opening closure is improved. It has been applied well in the actual projects of pipeline stations.
