Development status and prospect of safety insurance technologies for oil & gas reserves

In order to improve the accident control and management level of oil and gas reserves and insure the national public security, the key special project "Research and Development of Security Technology and Equipment for National Oil & Gas Reserves" is especially established in the national key R & D plan "Public Security Risk Control and Emergency Technology and Equipment". This project is aimed at satisfying the security needs of oil and gas reserves. In this project, theoretical research, technical research, equipment development and application demonstration are carried out mainly on the key technologies of natural gas reserves, including disaster mechanism, design and construction, inspection and testing, safety assessment, risk assessment, emergency response technology and equipment, and integrated safety and security platform. And thus, the security technology system for oil and gas reserves facilities is established, so that the public safety management level of oil and gas reserves is improved overall.
