Intelligent long distance pipeline based on Internet of Things technology

In this paper, the application of Internet of Things(IoT) technology in long distance pipelines at home and abroad was investigated. Then, based on pipeline integrity management system, cloud computing technology and big data technology, the architecture of IoT technology for long distance pipelines was constructed. Thus, the pipeline business process is completely linked up along the whole business chain of scheduling control, production management and business management, and various pipeline technologies are effectively coordinated and connected with the data flow in the field of management. Depending on the architecture of intelligent long distance pipeline and in combination with the actual problems in pipeline production, the feasibility and broad prospects for the development of the architecture are shown by an example.
