Development and application of localized 2 500 kW oil line pump

  • To respond the call of the national policy to ensure national energy safety and support the development of national industry, PetroChina has carried out a series of studies to realize localization of oil line pumps in recent years, and remarkable result is especially achieved in the development of 2 500 kW oil line pump with double rated condition. In this paper, the localization process of oil line pump was introduced, and it is divided into three stages, i.e., the dominant stage of domestic oil pump, the introduction, digestion and absorption stage and the localization accelerating stage. The localized oil line pump is in the structure of single stage, double suction and horizontal split. A new high-efficiency hydraulic model was designed. The function of double rated condition could be realized in one shell by changing impeller and guide vane. The following supporting programs are adopted, including rolling bearing support, high performance sealing ring and cartridge mechanical seal. Finally, the ex-factory performances of three different factories' trial products were comparatively tested on the same test platform according to the same test standard. It is shown that the power rating of this localized oil line pump is up to 89.8%.
