Development status and prospect of safety insurance technologies for oil & gas pipelines and storage and transportation facilities

  • In order to improve the accident control & emergency technologies and management level of oil and gas pipeline networks and insure the national public security, the project "Inspection evaluation and safety insurance technology for long-distance oil & gas pipelines and storage and transportation facilities" is especially established in the national key R & D plan "Public security risk control and emergency technology and equipment". Aimed at the public safety of pipelines and storage and transportation facilities, this project focuses on the key technological issues and bottlenecks of various important assignments in different sections, such as the damage and accident mechanisms, damage and defect detection, state monitoring and prewarning, risk evaluation, inspection evaluation, integrity evaluation and emergency repair and maintenance. Based on the accident prevention and reduction of oil & gas pipelines and storage and transportation facilities, it carries out theoretical study, technical research, equipment development, and application and demonstration, establishes safety insurance technology system of oil & gas pipelines and storage and transportation facilities, and improves the overall public security management level of pipelines and storage and transportation facilities.
