Standardized design of CBM surface gathering technology

  • Based on the existing application experience of surface gathering technologies in domestic coalbed methane (CBM) fields, the concept of standardized design was proposed from the aspects of well site, gas gathering pipeline network, station and equipment. The standardized design of well site includes technological process and layout. According to the existing experience of gas gathering pipeline network, a combined incoming pattern of "well-to-well concatenation and valve block concatenation" was put forward. Gas gathering station and processing plant can be built jointly based on the actual situations. Thermostatic dew point control technology can be used for dehydration, and it saves more capital investment than traditional TEG dehydration technology. The standardized design of surface gathering technologies in CBM field can accelerate the construction pace of CBM surface gathering system, reduce the energy consumption, improve the surface construction quality and save the investment.
