Abstract
According to the low-cost development strategy of Sulige Gas Field, the potential of remote gas wells shall be tapped as much as possible. Based on processes comparison, a low-cost recovering process suitable for the remote gas wells in Sulige Gas Field was proposed. Moreover, investment decision analysis was performed on the process by means of cash flow method. Based on the analysis, the conclusions are reached as follows. First, the remote gas wells in Sulige Gas Field shall recover gas by means of CNG tank lorry when they are at high pressure stage and using compressors for pressure boosting at the stages with middle and low pressures. Second, the recovering project of remote gas wells is short in payback period, low in investment risk and good in economic benefits. And third, the main influential factors of project profitability include sale prices, daily output, operating costs and construction investment. Especially, the project profit is the most sensitive to sale price, which is followed by daily output. The economic benefits of the project will be improved significantly, if the preferential policies can be obtained to sell the recovered gas directly as CNG commodity.
