Energy saving monitoring of transnational gas pipeline

  • In order to improve the transportation efficiency of the Trans-Asia Gas Pipeline, this paper proposes some measures in energy-saving monitoring, they are, ① planning and guiding in advance are adopted to make the management philosophy and principles on pipeline energy-saving consistent among partners, ② "pilot + promotion" mode is adopted to carry out the energy-saving monitoring, ③ for the efficiency calculation of compressor, the standards in China and abroad are benchmarked to make foreign countries better understand Chinese standards, ④ several countries coordinate and cooperate to carry out energy-saving tests on compressor units, ⑤ the energy-saving tests and evaluation methods are developed and applied for high-power gas compressor units, and ⑥ the energy-saving monitoring data are effectively used to maximize their value. With these measures, the annual energy-saving monitoring ratio of major energy-consuming equipment along the Trans-Asia Gas Pipeline exceeded 50% in 2014.
