Improvements of AMETEK portable chilled-mirror dew-point analyzer

  • The AMETEK portable chilled-mirror water dew-point analyzer uses a modular refrigeration source, which is designed with a semiconductor cooling device as the core and replaces the original refrigeration source (liquid nitrogen or liquid carbon dioxide) and related devices, such as cylinders, Dewar and evaporator. The heat transfer of semiconductor refrigeration tablets is guaranteed by rational design of the cooling module structure, and the cooling speed can be controlled through the design of cooling circuit. The design also takes into full account the explosion-prevention performance required for application in natural gas transmission and chemical processing sites, with higher intrinsic safety. The improved analyzer is not only highly operable, but also can protect the operators from frostbite and suffocation. When relocating for detection and analysis, no hazardous chemicals transportation permit is needed, so it is truly a portable analyzer.
