Design and application of weak magnetic stress inline inspection device for pipeline

  • Stress detection is a powerful means to guarantee the long-term stable operation for a new pipeline. Traditional detection methods can only detect corrosion and defects that have generated in the pipeline, but not stress concentration area. Therefore, according to the weak magnetic detection theory, the weak magnetic inline inspection device for pipeline is designed and manufactured, on the basis of data acquisition system, sensors and acquisition positioning system, deformation detection system, visual inspection system and mechanical structure. Using autonomous crawling device, and carrying weak magnetic detection visual recording device, the weak magnetic inline inspection device combines three detection methods of deformation detection, weak magnetic detection and visual analysis detection. It can accurately detect the defects stress concentration points of the new pipeline, and prevent the pipeline from incidents in light of the changes before and after the pipeline boosting.
