Abstract
The anti-icing system attached to the gas turbine (GT) driven compressor set for pipeline on site has low reliability, high energy consumption, frosting and icing at the air inlet filter of the gas turbine, and other problems during operation. In order to improve and optimize the anti-icing system at the air inlet of existing GT-driven gas compressor set, a GT-driven energy-conservative air inlet anti-icing system is designed through theoretical calculation and field investigation. The system can work for anti-icing by heating the gas turbine through gas return after acting, with manual valve and induced draft fan to control the volume of gas return, instead of complicated temperature control process with automatic valve. The economic analysis of the improved system shows that, in contrast to original unit, the new anti-icing system is more advantageous for energy conservation, simplified control system, high reliability, and anti-frosting, and it is of great importance for upgrading the operation management of compressor sets for pipelines.
