Endurance of LNG price around the Daniudi Gasfield

China's LNG market pricing mechanism is unreasonable, since it uses mostly cost-plus margin without considering the linkage to alternative energy, and its market value has not been fully reflected. Under this background, the equivalent heating value method is used to analyze the endurance of LNG price depending on regions, purposes and types of users around the Daniudi Gasfield. The results show that, in this area, the LNG price has the space to raise relative to alternative energy prices; in view of purposes, vehicle LNG price matches higher endurance than the civil and commercial LNG prices, and also than peak shaving and power generation LNG prices; for different types of LNG users, relevant market should be further segmented, and differentiated pricing model should be established and followed.
