Design and test of skid-mounted gas gathering station in Sulige Gasfield

  • To solve the problems like over modules in gas gathering stations, large site area, heavy workload on site, long construction period, high operating costs and impossibility to fully realize unattended operation of sulige Gasfield, a digital gas gathering skid is developed, through the analysis of traditional gas gathering station technology, 4 pressure vessels in the 4 modules including single well gas gathering, gas-liquid separation, flash emptying and transmission pigging, 61 valves including pigging valve, electric valve, relief valve and 230 pipe fittings are integrated, combined with efficient cyclone separator, three-way valve and automatic control system. On-site operation results show that the digital gas gathering skid is safe and reliable and can replace conventional gas gathering station. Featured with small site area, short construction period, low operating cost, remote monitoring and unattended operation, the digital gas gathering skid can be promoted for use in Sulige Gasfield.
