Abstract
Sulige Gasfield has entered to a new period of rapid development. Based on the exploration and development evaluation, the gasfield is deemed as a lithologic gas reservoir with low permeability, low pressure and low abundance, which is difficult to develop. According to the characteristics of the gas gathering process in Sulige Gasfield, and considering the distribution and geographic limitation of the gas gathering network in Sulige 54 Block, a comparative analysis is made on existing network and mature network model of Sulige Gasfield. Accordingly, the multi-branch manifold station arrangement of valve block is proposed to accommodate to concentrated pressurization of Sulige Gasfield. Comparing with the traditional scattered and concentrated pressurization gas gathering stations, this solution helps to reduce the pipe length, cut down the land acquisition and road occupancy costs, accelerate the speed of development, and realize the target of cost-effective progressive development of Sulige Gasfield. It provides a reference to the operations in similar gasfields.
