Performance test and analysis of domestic pump in field trial running

Acceptance test of pump unit includes performance test, reliability test and noise test. Before a formal acceptance test, a performance test is made on the pump in trial runnng, so as to provide a guidance to the next operations. Taking the domestic pump to be installed in a station as an example, this paper describes the station conditions and pump features, as well as the process, instruments and indicators of performance test. After comparing the domestic pump and a foreign pump with same parameters, it is found that the domestic pump has better performance in field application at two flowrates, with power consumption, pump efficiency, unit efficiency and other main parameters meeting the design requirements, which basically tally with advanced level of foreign products. Solutions are also raised to the problems of limited flowrate and severe vibration in the test, providing a valuable reference to the next step of acceptance test.
