Pipeline integrity management system with service-oriented architecture

  • To make the pipeline integrity management system of PetroChina more scalable, flexible and stable, its architecture is adjusted and continuously optimized. Currently, the system is docked with a number of the third-party systems, and a service-oriented architecture (SOA) system is gradually formed. For business purposes, different modules are abstracted into different services with low coupling and high cohesion in the SOA system. These services need to support industry standard interface means and norms, so that the external systems or the third-party systems can invoke and integrate different services to realize a special system for specific business. On this basis, functions of the pipeline integrity management system are introduced, a variety of services provided by the system is cited, and is also described with examples, demonstrating the superiority of the SOA system. In summary, the SOA system is bound to provide more decision support to the pipeline integrity management.
