Virtual pipeline control for energy-saving in pipeline enterprises

  • With the deepening of informational construction of pipeline enterprises, system integration, resource optimization and other work are urgent. Green and energy-saving are indispensable elements in next-generation data center of energy enterprises. Virtual technology is the basis of cloud calculation (private cloud), which has a number of advantages, such as energy-saving, cost reduction, optimization and integration of resource, improvement in resource utilization, simplifying management, so it has a broad development space in energy-saving and energy-control of pipeline enterprises. A new control model based on virtual technology breaks the framework of purchasing large number of servers, taking up much space, and low utilization rate of servers. The new model plays an active role in energy-saving, cost reduction, efficiency improvement, responsiveness improvement, risk reduction, data protection and pollution reduction, realizing modern green data center, and facilitating the improvement of informational level of pipelines.
