Analysis of mechanical influencing factors of pipeline landslide based on soil spring model

  • Landslide is one of the main factors threatening pipeline integrity. Based on the soil spring model, the finite element analysis model of landslide pipe is established which considers the non-linear characteristics of interaction between pipe and soil, and the effects of internal pressure of pipe, length of landslide, displacement of landslide and the angle between the direction of landslide and the axial direction of pipeline on pipeline stress are investigated. Taking the Shan-Jing Gas Pipeline as an example, the paper analyzes the impact of the related landslide factors on pipeline stress under different working conditions. The mechanical influencing factors under the situations of landslide vertical to pipeline and landslide parallel to pipeline are quantitatively analyzed, which shows that the angle between the direction of landslide and the axial direction of pipeline has an important effect on the additional stress caused by landslides, this is of great significance for the integrity management of pipelines. This result can provide theoretical basis and technical reference for the risk control of pipelines in areas where landslides are likely to happen.
