Thinking on localization of energy equipment and outlook for localization of LNG equipment

  • At present, China's energy demand continues to grow, and the energy security situation is grim. The energy development is unbalanced, and the structural adjustment has a long way to go. Under strong constraints of resource and environment, the energy conservation is facing tremendous pressure. The energy efficiency is urgent to be improved, and it is an arduous task to keep a reasonable control on the total energy consumption. The green energy revolution's demand in the progress of technology increases day by day. Developing the natural gas industry energetically and raising the proportion of natural gas in energy consumption are an important way to adjust our country's energy structure. Since LNG is not only an important means of the pipeline gas peak shaving, but also the only way of long distance ocean transportation of natural gas, LNG has attracted more and more attention. Equipment localization is an important safeguard to promote the scientific development of energy industry, and large LNG equipment has been listed as the key area of the equipment localization of National Energy Bureau to further raise the level of equipment localization in China. Therefore, hopes and requirements for localization of LNG equipment are proposed in this paper, that is, unswervingly adhere to the goal of localization, adhere to a high level localization, give full play to government-business-university-research-applitation cooperation mechanism, rely on construction projects and accelerate the localization process.
