Integrity assessment technology for pipeline full-size gas burst test

  • Oil and gas pipelines in China are developing rapidly, but there lacks the history data in long-term service and limit state of high strength steel pipelines which have high pressure, big diameter and steel grade higher than X70, and pipeline operation risks can not be evaluated accurately. In view of the present domestic experimental technology, the paper fully draws lesson upon the service condition of the pipeline full-size gas burst test field abroad, studies the function of gas pipeline burst test field of high-grade steel, large-diameter and high-pressure pipelines, analyzes the application field of testing field according to long-term service failure of pipeline, and test parameters needed in each test. The results show that for the reliability of pipeline operation safety and full life cycle management, it is necessary to establish a systematic integrity assessment technology of full-size blasting test, totally designing the parameters and function of pipeline burst test fields can provide data support to the establishment of pipeline burst test fields in China, and must do good to the development of integrity assessment technology of pipelines, and improvement of the intrinsic safety of pipeline.
