Trouble analysis and shooting of DPC-2804 compressor unit shutdown

  • Two DPC-2804 compressor units which are used now in Cainan Gas Booster Station, Oil and Gas Storage and Transportation Company of Xinjiang Oilfield, affected by high temperature of cooling water in summer and frozen blockage of the press-leading tube between interstage buffering tank and the panel in winter, have instrument faults and unit shutdown. Therefore, on the basis of analyzing the design of the units, a series of measures have been taken, that is, improving the panel test and replacement, adding high efficient coolant, installing more antifreezing buffering tank and strengthening insulation, to stabilize the temperature of cooling water, decrease the freezing blockage of the press-leading tube, which results in the decrease of fault shutdown rate of compressors. Therefore, these measures are widely used in reciprocating compressor devices in the oilfield.
