Application of HT-PO pipeline repair technology in complex corrosion environment

  • To solve the problem of corrosion perforation of gathering pipeline in a short time after in-service in high H2S and CO2 environment, corrosion-resistant polyethylene (HT-PO) pipe is used in Tahe Oilfield to carry out the lining with repair. The external diameter, wall thickness and bearing strength, design basis and computing method of flow capacity of the lining pipe are introduced. Lining with repair process is presented. This technique can be applied to the repair of pipelines under building or waters, avoiding full range excavation and replacement. The technique is not only low in cost and short in repair time, but also works well in complex corrosive environment, providing reference to the repair of similar oilfield gathering pipeline suffering from corrosion.
